> Do I need a login to use this application?
You do not need a log in to view prayer requests or to "click the "Prayed" button. You willnned a login to submit a prayer request, as well as to submit an update or comment to your request. More on logins below.
> Who can view online prayer requests?
Prayer requests that have been checkmarked (at the bottom og the prayer request form) in order to be listed on our Web site and printed list are available for anyone to view when they navigate to the Prayer Requests page on the KFBC site. Private requests — those that were not checkmarked to be listed on the Web site and printed list on the Prayer Request Submission Form — are only viewable by a few staff members. This software application does not allow specific requests to show up on a Google search.
> Who can submit a prayer request online?
The Prayer Request feature is for members, attenders and friends ofKingwood First Baptist Church. All requests must be approved by the administrator before they are published. If you have a question regarding a request, please use the Contact Us link or contact John Burris, 281-353-4226 x209.
> Can I submit an anonymous request?
We do not recommend that you submit an anonymous request, as we need to be able to contact you to verify information in the request and follow up with care when necessary. Anonymous requests will be handled on a case-by-case basis and might not be published. We will not publish anonymous requests submitted on behalf of another person who is not a family member.
> How soon should I expect my request to appear on the Web site?
Requests will be published daily by 5 p.m., Monday – Friday, except for holidays. With an urgent request, please contact the church office, 281-353-4266.
> Why has my prayer request been edited?
KFBC reserves the right to edit each request published on our Web site for grammar and appropriateness of content. Requests may be shortened or edited to remove last names when a request is submitted on behalf of another person who is not a family member. Please contact John Burris, if you have questions about your request.
> Why is the pray request that I submitted not showing up online?
If you submitted a request, but did not check the box at the bottom of the request form to give permission to list the request on our Web site and on the printed list, the request will remain "private." Only those designated as moderators or administrators will have access to view those requests. To change the status of the request to "public," contact the church office, 281-358-4266.
> What if I don’t have or don’t remember my login?
A login can be created here.

> What Internet browser is recommended for using the Prayer Wall and Prayer Session?
We recommend that you use the latest version of Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer 8 when accessing this application. Internet Explorer 6 & 7 do NOT support the Lift Prayer Application. Download Mozilla Firefox 3 for Mac or PC.
Checking this box gives KFBC permission to publish your prayer request on the Prayer Request page on our Web site and to allow users to print those prayer requests on their home printers. There may be times when we will also print copies of the Prayer Requests page for those who don’t have Internet access.
> Will my online prayer request automatically appear on the weekend prayer sheet?
No. If you would like your prayer request to appear on the weekend prayer sheet, please contact Elaine Senters at 281-358-4266 ext 201
