Purchase a pair of winter boots for Chisinau #3 orphanage in Moldova

Each year for the last decade beginning with Kingwood First Baptist Church and then Children’s Emergency Relief International (CERI), winter shoes, socks, hats, and scarves are given to orphans in Moldova. This year is no exception! Our former pastor and the Executive Director of CERI, Dr. Dearing Garner, will accompany over 54 volunteers who will go every orphanage to deliver winter boots to every institutionalized Moldovan orphan in time for winter.

KFBC will sponsor one orphanage through our Harvest Offering to ensure all the children at that orphanage will receive winter shoes and socks. The Chisinau # 3 Orphanage is a segregated orphanage that is for Russian children only. Currently 256 children live at the orphanage.  More than 100 children are true orphans without parents. The director is Mr. Igor Sandler. Moldova is scheduled to have the coldest winter in over 100 years, and the children will need warm winter boots and socks.
